Try making a small buy and sell, for some reason, under certain conditions, some pairs need that to start running.
Btw, I’m sorry for the delay approving the messages. It seems an upgrade broke the email warnings I get when there are pending messages. We have fixed it.
for security reasons I can only edit license when actively trading using an already Registered key.
Try leaving the bot running before adding the new api / secret combo. You can activate watch_mode or add a pair that doesn’t have any balance or whatever, I mean, makes real trades it’s not needed, just leave the bot cycling with a working api key before adding new exchanges.
Hi Paul, yes, with Gunbot Pro and Ultimate you can run more than 1 exchange at the same time. You can follow this steps to add a new exchange:
https://gunbot.shop/how-to-add-and-edit-exchanges-on-gunbot/
If you already did, check your api, secret and passphrase (Kucoin needs it too) are correct.
Hi GH, I feel the strategy very solid. Some people prefer to run more aggressive strategies and others prefer to be more conservative. The different variants adapt to different trading styles. Apart from that, I haven’t released new versions since several months. Mainly because I feel it solid, and also because I’m working on a new strategy with different concept. I will post about this new strategy very soon.
Thank you guys for the nice comments
Nice explanation martinabates0! Thank you.
Hi Judy, note that beta versions are versions that aren’t 100% tested, so they may have bugs or any other issues. I always recommend to stick to final stable versions. You can get info and download latest stable versions here:
https://gunbot.shop/category/downloads/
From time to time there is a specific beta version that may incluse some new interesting features and it have a decent testing, But on most of the cases, 99% of the time, you should be fine with lastest stable.

You can trade with any coin that is available in the exchange. Same way you would do if you trade manually.
Send me a PM in the forum please.
Hi I’m new here and am enjoying the program so far.
Nice, I’m glad to hear that.
Firstly the interface looks different to what I’m seeing in the videos. I have latest 25.08 but I don’t see such things as Easy Edit. Also the PnL analysis look quite a bit different from the earlier version. Just wondering if I have the screen setup properly?
Hi, right, latest version has a new design. I will create a new video to show it. I guess we already contacted you via Telegram and answered your questions. We always do with new customers to guide you on the first steps. Obviously we are always for you whenever you want regardless you are new or old customer.
I’m also trying to access the TV backtester. Currently locked out. Not sure how to unlock it.
I think I have been talking with you about it in Telegram (not 100% sure if it was you or other customer). Anyway, in order to activate Backtesting Addon, you just have to send us your TradingView username and we do it.
Also there’s talk about the SG Mutation Strategies. How do I find and access those.
SG Mutation is a Premium strategy (paid one). You can get it now for 0.017 btc using the coupon code: SGM
https://gunbot.shop/product/gunbot-settings-pack/
Note that using the coupon code SGM in the above link you will get SG Mutation strategy instead of the strategies shown in the item.
I’m also wondering what peoples investment strategy per pair? Say if I had $500 to invest. Do you risk the whole $500 on 1 pair. Or 5 pairs at $100? Maybe 2 @ $250.
It depends on what you prefer. Some people like to trade with 1 pair, others with 4, others with dozens of them…
Obviously a lot of work gone into this program and it looks quite daunting even from someone who has come from 3Commas. I’m loving that every trade is in profit even though the returns are quite low. But I guess it’s about the high frequency of trades over time that makes the money. Looking forward to the journey.
Enjoy this amazing journey!!
Hi Paul, sorry for the delay, I need to fix the email alerts when a post is pending for validation, like this case (for posting images or links). I will fix it so I can validate and answer fast. As you say it’s good to have apis of 2 exchanges, so if one of them fails for whatever reason, you can start the bot with the other api.
Note that you can set the api / secret directly in the config.js but that api should have been registered before. I mean, if you only have 1 exchange added and your api is “zzz111”, you can’t just put a new api “ppp222” in the config.js file, as the bot won’t recognize it. In that case you can send us an email, or PM in the forum, or just a direct message to my telegram, and I will change it fast for you.
As far as you have 1 working api registered, you can add / change any other api yourself.
Other important point is that if you change the api from config.js file, and you put a new api and secret, you have to set “isencrypted” to “false”. So it reads your api and secret and after the first run the bot will automatically encrypt the info.
Hi Paul, we have several customers running Gunbot on Raspberry, and it runs fine, so it’s always an option to take into account. However there are some other advantages of running the bot on a VPS instead of on a Raspberry. For example:
1- You save in electricity bill (not a big deal but you don’t need to keep the raspberry running 24/7).
2- VPS connection is always faster and more stable than any domestic internet connection.
3- The amount of users running the bot on a Raspberry is very low, and this means:
a) It’s the less tested version.
b) Lower priority to release ARM versions. It’s always the last one, and in some cases it doesn’t even have version (for example it happened with v24.3.2 Stable) and this forced Raspberry users to run older versions.
Anyway, it’s perfectly possible to run the bot on a Raspberry. In the case you prefer to benefit of the advantages of running it on a VPS, there are good, fast and stable ones for a few bucks / month. I recommend you to take a look at the points 10 and 11 of this link:
Hi, please check the email I have sent you.
Hi, taking a look to the pic you sent me via PM, which shows the complete text of the error, it definitely looks like an API authentification error.
Note that Okex asks for 3 things:
1- API
2- Secret
3- Passphrase
You need to be sure to add passphrase too. It’s an alphanumerical text you write at the moment of creating the api key. So be sure to save it, and double check everything is correct (no blank spaces, fields are case sensitive etc…).
on the command line it says my registered exchange is Poloniex whereas the exchage I have connected is Okex. In the Edit licence section Poloniex is listed but Okex isnt
Send me a PM stating your wallet and Okex api and I will register it properly. It should fix the issue. In the case it doesn’t, I would try updating to a newer bot version as the one you are using is quite old:
