I guess that it’s because the bot doesn’t save the amount you traded and isolates it.
I mean, if you have the pair USDT-BTC and you buy 1000$ worth BTC, it should save anywhere USDT-BTC pair bought X BTC for 1000$ . For example if you deposit 0.02 BTC, it would sell it to USDT and count it as profit.
May look easier than it really it is, as the bot should detect when a crypto has been deposited as bot add it to secondary pair as it’s not trading profit. I will ask dev team about this and I will let you know if they plan to improve this somehow.
Note that you can run 4 pairs with 4 different base coins
But I know what you mean and I also personally liked that graph on BTC, USD or whatever you want. I will ask about it although I don’t think they will include it in the next stable version, as it’s about to be released and their main focus at this moment is pointed on fixes and GUI performance.
Hi, yes, I remember that was pretty common on olders versions. Sometimes port 5000 stayed “in use” and a computer restart was needed free that port.
Does it happen even after stopping the bot, closing it and starting again? Dashboard needs that to be updated, and that is something that dev team is working 0n although I don’t know if this fix will be implement for next stable, which should be released very soon by the way.
I think what you mean is something like this:
Suppose you are trading USDT-BTC and you deposit 0.04 btc to increase your USDT funds, so after making the deposit, you trade BTC for USDT. Then that “extra USDT” will be considered as profit. It happens even on Binance PNL calculator. Same happens for withdrawals.
Nice finding Linuz, thanks a lot for sharing it here
Sorry, my bad, I thought this info was stored in json files. I’m going to investigate this and I will let you know if I found it’s stored in a “place” where we can access to and get the info.
Perfect. Thanks for your feedback
Javier is trying to reproduce it and he will post soon his conclusions about how the values of these parameters (RESERVE_PILE_UP and FUNDS_RESERVE) are being written / updated in JSON files.
Hi, I made some changes, hopefully I will work now. Please let me know.
You can access that info on JSON file. Each pair has its own value.
Hi, yes it’s possible to show the balance in USD, USDT, EUR etc… Anyway, to be honest I don’t recommend to use Telegram bot at this moment. When it was called Crypto Sight, it was really good and I made a video explaining how it worked and all its features. The thing is that at some point, the dev team decided to integrate the Telegram bot as part of Gunbot and the coder who made CS went out. Since then the “new Crypto Sight” haven’t been as good as the original one was, not even close. Still has some things to improve, some bugs to fix and it’s not accurate. They are working on it, but as I said, at this moment I can’t recommend to use it.
Thank you for letting me know. I’m going to check it and I will tell you something. You are sure it doesn’t arrive to spam folder, right?
Yes, it’s a shame ARM version is always 1 step behind other versions. I guess dev team has to prioritize. What I was told was that the libraries used on v21 were not easy to implement for ARM version and there are some people that still prefer previous ARM version, v18. Hopefully next versions will improve ARM implementation.
I just talked with lead developer and he checked the code and told me RESERVE_PILE_UP is active. At this moment, the only way to use it is to activate it directly editing config.js but now dev team is warned about this and they will include it in GUI for next version.
